Who is responsible
Sandton Stay is operated and managed under Steps Bloodline (Pty) Ltd. The company is responsible for the personal information it receives directly through Sandton Stay enquiries and booking communications.
Information you choose to share
The website currently invites you to contact Sandton Stay by WhatsApp, email or telephone. We receive only the information you choose to send through those services, such as your name, contact details, preferred residence, dates, guest count and stay requirements. Please do not send identity documents, card details or sensitive information through a general enquiry.
Website and campaign information
The site creates limited, non-personal interaction events in the page, such as a residence view, video milestone or contact-button click. These events exclude campaign query strings, advertising identifiers, names, email addresses, telephone numbers, message text and stay dates. In this version they remain only in the page's temporary browser memory, are not transmitted or retained by Sandton Stay, and no third-party analytics tag is loaded.
The hosting service may process ordinary technical records needed to deliver and secure the website, including request time, device or browser details and network information. Google Search Console may provide Sandton Stay with aggregated information about how pages appear in Google Search.
External booking and communication services
Links may take you to WhatsApp, email, a telephone service, Guesty or an online travel agency such as Airbnb or Booking.com. Those providers process information under their own terms and privacy notices. A click is not a confirmed enquiry or booking; the provider's own confirmation controls.
Why information is used
Information received directly may be used to answer your enquiry, check availability, prepare a quote, arrange a stay, provide guest support, maintain financial or booking records, prevent misuse and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.
Sharing and retention
Information is shared only when reasonably required to operate a requested stay, use a service provider, handle payments or bookings, meet a legal obligation or protect guests, the residences and the business. Records are kept only for as long as they are reasonably needed for those purposes and applicable record-keeping duties.
Your choices
You may ask what personal information Sandton Stay holds about you and request correction or deletion where applicable. South Africa's Information Regulator publishes the official forms for these requests. We may need enough information to confirm your identity before acting on a request.
